Jabil has always had better financials than their competing contract manufacturers. It will continue to be a rocky road in the industry, but JBL is a relative blue chip in this business.

Jabil is one of the most effective and efficient contract manufacturers out there. They continually post positive net income (which is more than most in this field can say), and management knows how to diversify their business in an effective way.

just had a major drop in price to near 52 week low, still has good fundementals, eps has been steady last 4 qtrs and total is up over last year, revenue has increased last 10 qtrs,

I found this recognizable brand name stock when it recently short-circuited into the red from $31 to $29. After looking at its 6 month chart, my instinct told me it looks like a pretty good buy. I wish I'd been there in June when it imploded from $35...

Based on the customer profiles and which markets that drive profits, Jabil's ability to sustain past performance is questionable. I beleive that pricing pressure will continue from Flextronix and Foxconn which will cause margin compression with Phil...
