Take a moment to consider the multiple layers of leverage in this story.
First, you have JPMorgan's stock which was inflated by the bank's huge leverage.
Then you're using that as collateral for margin loans, so more leverage.
And then with that money, you're buying hedge fund and private equity stakes, which are levered still.
Three layers of leverage.

Leverage TARP and double down baby, this is free money and take what you can as fast as you can, before someone figures this out!

Capsperson,Did you see the Lobbyists are out in full force to screw the taxpayers be requesting the warrants to be expunged.http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124035639380840961.htmlCost to the tax payer if the lobbyist win and the government gives back the warrants? A few billion loss to taxpayers.Who gets that few billion? Overworked and underpaid execs @ JPM and GS and their ball busting Lobbyists.Interesting how the Wall Street Journal failed to mention Section 4.9 of the CPP Securities Purchase Agreement...lets see if the Treasury Department "remembers" their duties and more importantly Sec. 4.9 and sells the warrants to their 3rd party investor friends....or smart people like you and me!_______________________________________________________________________________________For those who want the TARP paid back quickly.....you are as stupid as JPM execs thinks you are.
