Okay ... so I tried a swing short on some of the homies that had popped up a few weeks ago. Most of them worked out for minor gains and a few lost. Now, with the rate cuts, Fed. stimulus, gas going down and whatever else, ... changed my thinking th...

This stock is heading lower, along with the entire housing sector. The market is nowhere near the bottom. I think that most experts who are calling a bottom now, remember the heady gains we just experienced in the housing market and want to be crow...

Subprime worries blah, blah, blah. Certainly home sales are down but they're down from unprecedented levels in this country's history. A wall of worry is built into this sector and that's what drives markets higher. Technically there's a possible 10%...

The housing industry is crashing, but even if it starts to recover, KB Homes is the bottom of the quality barrel. It's recovery will lag the rest of industry, if it even does recover. Short term outlook is bad.

Folks are still way too optimistic about the home builders. Prices are not accounting for risks to the downside from here and as much as the cheerleading HB CEOs throw out that they are seeing a bottom, most data continues to show weakness and in so...

The CEO of KB home came out today and said that he did not see the housing market bottom until the end of 2008 and didn't see prices rising until well into 2009. When the CEO comes out and says things aren't going to change for at least another year ...
