I'm surprised Coca-Cola stock is still trading this low. This is a good stock to anchor your portfolio. Over the long haul it will probably be right with the market--a little above at times and a little below at times. But this solid of a company with a 3.4 dividend yield is worth at least 15% of any portfolio in my Foolish opinion. A definite income investor stock.
Hey, this might be weird, but if you wanna do stock talk let me know, ur short term record is nice, im a 25 year old teacher, i started last year...near the peak, unfortunately im mostly in the hole, hopin the market stays down for at least a year so i can try to get some great bargains, unfortunately i didnt have a job for 5 months of down time so i wasn't able to take advantage, but ive been workin for almost 2 months now and hoping to get back in the game, anyways, if interested, check out my caps to see if theres nethin u like, or reply to one of my messages on the discussion board and send it to me as an email...i highly recommend the discussion boards, as i noticed you havent commented on them yet, anyways, just thought id say whatsup as i noticed u seemed to be fairly interested in investing and a 22 year old teacher, we're pretty much in the same position, though im totally jealous of your 3 year advantage on me in age, its all about givin the $ time to grow, alrite, hope to hear from you, later
