The visual chart of this company tells the story that it is still in a downward spiral. Although dividends were raised and a contract settled, the underlying negative issues are still present

Uhhhh ... no, it doesn't. First off, "the visual chart" doesn't always tell a very accurate story when the market is wrong. But even if you ignore that bit of info, this stock has gone up significantly since '05 and '06; something a large chunk of the market can not say. Sure, it's down since the market peak at '07, but there aren't too many stocks out there that aren't down from then.

What does the chart have to do with anything? Past performance is not an indicator of future performance. What we're debating is if KR will outpace the S&P 500 from this point on.
