The CEO is a moron. He doesn't even buy his clothing from his own company. He is doing what Penney's did in the 90's and failed. He is trying to bring high end clothing and accessories that are not his customer. He is also losing manager to JCPenney's in the Chicago. He is argant with his managers and people that work for him. He is going through Vice-Presidents at one a year. There hasn't been a split since he took over as CEO and unlike JCPenney there is no divadend. The company spent money buying back stock last year at the time the senior management's options came due. The SEC need to check the dating on those options because there is a large amount of senior management dumpuming.

The guy with the top bear pitch can't even spell? Also, not splitting a stock is not really an indicator as to how well a company is doing.

Mr. Montgomery, whom you characterized as a "moron" is one of the brightest management stars in the retail sector. Far from your frequently misspelled opinion, he and his Board have been one which is envied and, in many cases, copied by his rivals. It would take far too much space to list all of the innovations he's brought to the company, but you can be sure that long-term this stock will make other retailers cringe. The harshest critics of this company are the tape-watchers who expect every quarter to exceed the previous one, an impossibility even a true moron would be able to grasp. If you are a day trader you probably should avoid real investments like Kohl's, but for the serious, long-term investor, I don't know of a company which will do better. As for the absence of recent stock splits, what difference does that make--or do you think that doubling your shares will double your investment as well?
