It's disheartening to see just how many scam companies are out there. This is another one. I can't believe anyone is buying this piece of crap. Even if you don't want to look at the financials (which aren't pretty) there are enough red flags for Tiananmen square! It's headquarters are a suite in a 1-storey run-down strip mall next to a taco bell and it has a market cap of $18 million? The CFO recently resigned for undisclosed reasons. A board member who was a member of the audit committee recently resigned for undisclosed reasons. They are practically giving away huge amounts of stock to fund day-to-day operations. Hugely dilutive, and no earnings to speak of for the past 2 years, although enough losses for a MLB player with a gambling problem. Again, some poor retiree is buying this because his nephew gave him a hot tip, and is gonna lose his shirt. Too bad.
Well now the market cap is 12 million.
For what it's worth finviz.com, a site that does have some worthwhile info unavailable on other websites I'm familiar with, says that insiders have increased their holdings in the company via open market buys or exercise of stock options for the last 6 months. That's the reason I opened an "Outperform" pick on it I'm not sure how long ago. which I just ended.
Your pitch wasn't the reason I just closed that pick, but it did cause me to do some more investigating.
