I worked in two other CDN companies and we always were trying to catch up with Limelight. LLNW is a solid CDN with a solid customer base--they are not going anywhere but up espeically since they are at a 52 week low. I keep buying more the more it goes down. I started buying at 6!

Just curious, what makes you think this company is going to be around in a year? If Akamai's patents hold (seems like they will) in courts all they need to do is slap a injunction against Limelight and it's over!

I agree they are a good CDN company. But, given that they have lost the law suit which Akamai brought upon them for violating Akamai's 703 patent and a permanent injunction can be issued anytime now, there is no guarantee they could continue doing business (although they claim only 54% of their business violates the patent, why would customers want to sign up with them)....if an Injunction is issued it will drop another 50% from here.

You say that you work in CDN business, is there a alternate way of implementing a CDN without violating Akamai 703 patent ?

LLNW thinks they can implement it in an alternate way (as per their most recent Q call), which I doubt given the management's reputation. Anyone who thinks the LLNW can pull that off, there is a 300% upside from here.
