Until last week I thought of linked in as facebook for grown-ups. And then I got asked to apply for a job through somebody I had reconnected with through linked in. Now I am a believer although it is still not clear to me how they are going to make money off of it. One of the few dotcoms that I am not short in caps.
i do believe in this business. it will stay around. i simply felt the valuation was way off and will be for quite a while. the good professionals are on here. its legit. just what its currently at i feel is going to be victem of a huge correction
Shrewd. I was exploring on Linked in yesterday and checked out some of the links for premium service out of curiosity. It's hard to resist wanting to know who is visiting your profile, or if you are looking for a job, getting placed at the top of searches. It very well might be worth the money for the latter. Anyhow I then got an email this morning offering free 1 month trial of premium service...which no doubt would be renewed automatically if I don't opt out... I think Linked in should be more than 1 star in caps...it is the real deal.
I have been a member for at least two years. I think I might at least try the premium for a month for free and see what becomes of it!
I love that this is still one star.
