Goldman says buy, I say sell. Massive debt and negative free cash flow makes this stock a more likely BK than a BUY.

I would like the price to stay low too but as you know it won't. The world is moving quickly toward high speed internet. Very quickly. The debt market likes LVLT debt - your comment on BK is a red herring. You are not short - you are accumulating. If you are a short you are truly a fool.

Unlike anonymous posters on the Internet, with zero record of success and zero record of accuracy in their predictions, Fool contributors (1) post our recommendations publicly, (2) have years-long records tracking the accuracy of these predictions, and (3) publicly disclose both our long and short stock positions.

I have been following this company since 1998. I have also been in the sector since 1991. This company has been in more significant financial straights then now and got out of it. We can argue whether the company will ever make a profit but the leadership team has proven they can tactically handle their debt. It also does not hurt that there seems to be friends who will give them the benefit of the doubt. If LEVEL3 was going to go BK, it would have happened right after the Internet bubble when all the other start ups did the same thing.
