Rising gas prices......people can't afford to travel....look for this stock to decline over the summer.

You are looking at this only from a domestic perspective. Marriott has hotels globally.Someone in Italy can buy a vacation package, travel via Eurorail to Germany, hop the free shuttle that comes with their vacation package to their Marriott hotel and not pay a dime of those rising gas prices.As far as the hotel industry goes, I would say look toward global properties with strong customer service backgrounds to be able to withstand the problem of rising energy prices.
