I've stayed in their hotels at just about every price point they offer. The service is great, the rooms much nicer than the competition. I think the stock's still got some headroom for the following reasons:1. Higher gas prices may shorten the distance people travel, but they'll still take vacations. To compensate themselves for a less exotic setting, I think they'll treat themselves to nicer accommodations. 2. You might be able to conduct meetings with people you already know via satellite, but nothing will replace a face-to-face meeting when interviewing a potential employee or doing deals with new clients. Residence Inns are great for both. When business picks up, they'll reap the rewards.3. Management is flexible and customer-oriented, keeping its eyes open for new niches to fill as well as new ways to serve the existing customer base. Loyalty counts in this industry.
