Housing industry still has a long way to fall. We should hit bottom in late spring or early summer. We might hit bottom sooner if the Fed cuts rates, which I believe will happen in Feb 2007, unless inflation is out of control. Home prices will errode...

I'm betting that 1) homebuilding stocks have already hit bottom and started back up (as interest rates are likely to drop soon), and 2) this company is less prone to slumps than the homebuilders themselves, as Masco will always have plenty of remodel...
