Bad run of luck in China. But the management of Mattel is top knotch. This is a good time to buy a dip in their history, but be ready to ride low for a year at least. It will take that long for people to forget about the recalls.

Beat earning last quarter and the worst of the China lead issue should be behind the stock. Retail should pick up the second half of this year and Mattel should benefit.

Mattel is fed by chinese growth. Also as emerging markets begin to take hold of their economies, particularly in light of the American decline, income levels will rise and product line companies will benefit.
