I don't see this company making a lot of profits any time soon. Whether or not it goes belly up, there are a lot less structured finance issues being issued right now. Also, the value of insurance in something like this is that the buyer has to think the company will pay out. Having MBIA-insured bonds right now would not exactly be a recipe for a good night's sleep.
