McDonald's will definitely outperform the market and increase it's payout to investors who are invested in the company versus short term gains. Dividends plus stock appreciation make this stock a staple for my portfolio. As the world population increases, the consumption of quick and easy meals will continue to rise. There is an argument that their is a movement towards healthier dieting and eating, but McDonald's will be innovative and begin appealing to more health conscious consumers if the trend continues.
