Hearing good things from cardiologists about Angiomax. recent support from journals. Could be a combo w/BMY for cath patients. No debt on board, so if this drug hits.......the stock could go out of the yard.
My mistake about combo w/BMY. Recent non-approval for use in ER is somewhat bogus, as we are using it for cath pts already (off-label) and the penetration is roughly around 40% of cath pts right now. Its better than heparin as far as bleeding complications b/c half-life so short, requiring less intensive and cheaper post-procedure care. This product has room to grow over next 2-3 yrs and could hit 1 billion in sales if the FDA gets off their pedestal.
