Why is it OK for "big government" to intervene when big investment banks are in trouble, but laissez faire "free trade" orthodoxy reigns supreme when it comes to saving the jobs and life savings of normal Americans? Chew on that.

yeah, i don't agree at all either, its sad that much of America either doesn't understand it or doesn't care either... Its proven that most people prefer some action of some kind in a bad situation, regardless. So if our government did nothing (or very little), a majority of the public would raise questions onto its ethic ("does our government even CARE?!")... but really, the best action in this case, is no action at all.Inflation is at 4.3% in the TTM.

Because the welfare queens on Wall St. are hypocrites and don't give a S.H.I.T. about you, me, or their neighbors ... Unless there is a quick buck to be made ... And their enablers (the GoP) are nothing more than hypocrites themselves ... They are reckless and like teenagers with the parents credit card ... They rather bail out the fat cats than help out the average joe who's getting screwed by Wall St investment banks and hedge funds ... The GoP should not wonder why they are going back to the government deep freeze similar to what happened after the election of 1932...

There is a difference in supporting the financial system with loans and handing gold toothed Shiniqua money to buy some 26" rims for her Tahoe.
