Compared to overpriced ARMHY, MIPS represents a compelling value = bargain basement. Management has sent mixed messages about the profitability of Chipidea...meaning they haven't been able to figure it out. That is why the old CFO has gone (in addition to the fiasco in accounting in 2007) and good riddance!! Chipidea is the leader in analog IP and will add significantly to MIPS capabilities.
