Despite McClatchy's attempts to gain market share with its recent purchase of most Knight Ridder newspapers, as well as its attempts to join the 21st century by updating its business and information model, I'm not sold on this stock. The company hasn't given me any reason to believe it's willing to completely overhaul its news distribution model -- which is what it will take for newspaper companies to survive in an instant-information world.
