Please sir may I have some MO. Altria (MO) is a great company despite the moral issues some people have with what they sell. This company is a cash cow that weathered some of the biggest lawsuits in history.

Compound this with the fact that they have a dividend yield of nearly 4.5 percent right now and you have yourself an ideal Roth IRA holding. This is one of the biggest positions in my Roth and will probably stay that way whether I want it to or not....especially if it keeps rewarding investors with these kinds of returns.

One last reason I love this company, especially in the last 10 years, is the negative press. It just keeps bringing good buying opportunities, meanwhile the share price keeps recovering and the dividends give more bang for the buck during the lulls. It's a win, win stock.
