This company will continue to flip flop int he market depending on the new TRUTH campaigns. Lets get one thing straight here Cig. companies will never go otu of business no matter how many people sue fo rmedical conditions we all know could have been prevented. Billions of dollars a year are made by these compaines not only here in America but abroad wherer they are parent companies to the same brands overseas.

The TRUTH campaign wont effect this company whatsoever. There is no reason for this company to do poorly. There loss of customers is going to be dwarfed by stock buyback programs.

TRUTH does not inspire people to quit smoking. It might make them guilty and fearful about smoking, and they might live less longer because of the stress they cause(Therefore lessening a customers life span), but I doubt people quit because of that.

At best they might discourage new young customers but young people are turned on by going against the grain and what they know to be right. I don't condone young people beginning to smoke to be cool, or smoking or Altrias business model ethics...but I'm just saying, I don't agree with your bear argument for MO. I think this is an incredible buy right now, especially with the dividend yield. But I have too much of a conscious to actually buy.

east indian, and chinese citizens gain more disposable income and stress from fast paced lives. living the high life and chain smoking our finest virginia tabacco. do they have truth ads anywhere else in the world?
