Food price inflation will emerge around the world based on China and India adding protein to their diet. The giant new middle classes will create sustained demand. Supply will simply not keep up with demand over the long term. Agricultural stocks stand to benefit.

Hey AeroFool,I think you're right about this, the demand by India & China for agricultural products out-running the supply (you mean they don't just eat rice all day long?! Just kiddin'...) I didn't take that into consideration when I posted a thumbs-down on MOS about 3 weeks ago. I recently saw a "CNN Presents" special on just this scenario. The growth potential in China is still mind-boggling. And where we can't comprehend such large numbers and such fast-paced growth, there will certainly be estimates that are way off, both on the high side and on the low side. However, with taking a long-term approach (as you are), I think this investment will definitely pay off for you. But like I said in my pitch for MOS, I'm only going against MOS for the near- to intermediate-term, against the financials (only) because they look unsustainable. Now looking at the potential growth with new and ever-widening eyes, I'm just hoping I can squeak out some positive points in CAPS, close that pick out, then let MOS rip-roar right back. Good Luck!
