I think the market overreacted, though they do need to make some changes (which they did, they just need to be effective).

A new large stake holder, Mr Icahn, if he has his way will improve Motorola and make it profitable again. He has an excellent track record in this regard. Motorola is also involved in the Wifi arena and has one contracts to roll out service.

New phones, Zander is under pressure from Icahn and shareholders, MOT has a large reserve of cash, buying back stock, low P/E, etc, etc... The bottom line is that MOT's not going anywhere, so pick it up while the street hates it and wait patiently.
