strategically aligned to become the next major oil player in the US.
-Has an international exploration presence
-Has access to 7700 miles of pipeline and ranks third among US pipelines based on barrels delivered.
-Fifth largest refiner in the US (No new refineries built since 1976) because of permitting difficulties.
-Distribution by way of Speedway SuperAmerica 5700 gas stations in 17 states.
-Solid Management team issues buybacks at opportune times and just increased the dividend.
The only risk I see is that the company doesn't make the right oil and natural gas acquisitions. However it is pursuing Canada's Athabasca tar sands.
