Based on last winter and the unusual amount of precipitation we have received here in Colorado since fall of 2006, I am guessing that Vail will get a lot of snow this year, and that should mean that they will in turn get a lot of money out of that snow. I don't ski, but I have been to Vail and it is a very nice (and expensive) place to be year round. It's kind of an odd rationale to people who are not familiar with the Colorado ski industry, but the earlier we get snow, the better as far as the resorts are concerned.
