Betting against the banks again. Repeating all the old arguments like bad loans, sick real estate market and poor employment. You can only sing this song so many ways, but for the banks it always seems to end on a sour note.

The postponed stock offering likely means that the appraised value of the company was lower than what they wanted to see.
Their profits seem adequate in the near term to remain a going concern but why did they feel the need to raise more cash now if they remain profitable?
