NetFlix is a solid company which will recover from its recent tumble by doing what they have been doing the whole time: providing a quality service at a reasonable price. Everyone I know that uses Netflix loves it, and I don't see any of them giving it up. I stopped my subscription, but just because they don't send DVDs to APO addresses. As soon as I return to the States, NFLX will be one of the first companies I reestablish contact with.

Netflix comes through again!

Joe, I'm on the eight-out plan through my APO. The turn-around time is wicked long (~two weeks here, eight-to-ten days back), but it's completely worth it, and though my per-disc charge is high, as an owner of the company, I really don't mind so much.

I am surprised that they don't deliver to APO addresses. My friend on my ship recieves his NETFLIX DVD's regularly, or course we have an FPO address instead. NETFLIX's largest distribution center is actually located in the same airport as where the FPO mail is delivered so even though delivery can be a little slow coming out to the ship he still gets his DVD's. For us it is totally worth it though as it gets wicked boring watching the same Navy Videos for a full 6 months. I am not using NETFLX either right now but like you when I return stateside I intend to subscribe.
