Netflix is paying more to get customers -- the viral marketing hey-day seems to have ended. I was a little worried about Blockbuster's new Total Access program -- "exchange your video at our stores" --, but learned shortly after the announcement that Blockbuster was going to significantly reduce in-store inventories. Duh. Anyway, Netflix launched Watch Now to compete in the streaming tv space. Good move for the future.
