Just have a strong feeling they get bought out. Gotta think Reed is tiring of the war. They are in position to be a global brand, but don't have the big cash needed to grow it. Again, he's on the Board of FB and MSFT. And if not bought, deal with FB could be meaningful. I was short last time over a hundred, coming back in now for run back up.
Netflix, Inc. can progress, long time or short. Also, they aren't cash lovers as you think. They'll even give me my part financially.
I admit I am losing faith, big time. The product really starting to suck. No joy of watching a movie experience, feels like something Bill Gates would make. Selection just plain aggravating. I may close this one shortly. No faith anymore, only hope a buyout.
Did you change your mind in 20 days?
Yes. I was thinking a new slogan for the company might be, "Netflix, price so low, we just don't suck enough to quit." I still find enough value, maybe even by a wide margin, to keep the service. In the 50's, I may make a large purchase if it stays there. Company still bringing in 100s of millions per month to acquire content and build a truly global brand. I also still think that Reed is a great, brilliant CEO. I personally just wish they would spend some money building the brand in terms of showing a genuinely love of movies. I even believe selling products with some affiliate programs could increase revenue as books, posters, memorabilia are part of movie-loving experience. See more upside potential than downside risk. Company not about to see exodus anytime soon.
