The bearish case of netflix is overdone, and ignores two important points: 1) Netflix is taking steps to have a digital movie option. They are in the business of delivering a huge selection of video content conveneintly to customers. Doing it digitally over the internet is just an improvement on what they already are doing, so it is certainly on their radar screen. 2) I suspect that it will be quite some time before the people are legally downloading feature films at a volume that is challenging or threattening to Netflix, even if they weren't working on their own offering.
