Just like the Phoenix, Netflix keeps rising back to life. Reed Hastings is a shrewd business man and a long distance runner and has proven several times that new trends have little impact on Netflix' solid business model. The Netflix brand is the top...

This is one of my favorite companies and favorite stocks. I had a previous Outperform pick on it that I closed out as a loser -- why? I would want to buy more here (double-down) but CAPS doesn't at present allow that. Anyway, Netflix reports earnin...

NFLX is a solid, well run company which is becoming embedded - much like AMZN and GOOG - into American society and culture.NFLX isn't just about distributing DVDs - though that is its main business and will remain for some time - but it is about de...

Netflix is paying more to get customers -- the viral marketing hey-day seems to have ended. I was a little worried about Blockbuster's new Total Access program -- "exchange your video at our stores" --, but learned shortly after the announcement that...

Blockbuster's limited catalog means their recent change allowing subscribers to swap at the store is not long term threat. Walmart's entry into downloaded movies would be more of a threat if their customers were more computer literate. NFLX has ann...
