I closed my under perform (+25%) this morning and opened my out perform (at $5.00) this afternoon.


This stock should really trade back to the $6.50-7.25 range. When Pfizer pulled Exubera, Nektar paid the full price. i believe the stock price prior to this mornings announcement reflected the value of pipeline products and the net $150 million or so in the bank and discounted Exubera to zero. They do have a pulmonary R&D effort and that will probably get closed down. The net result will be a lower burn rate and better focus on the 2-3 pipeline products in phase II and Phase III. I think it is a buy at this point
