The company is not having clear strategy for marketing the product. There is lack of people who can support the company's product. When compared with peer competitor, RedHat the market acceptance of the SuSE Linux is very low.

Novell bought Platspin - the best move I've seen them make in a long time. This puts them in position to ride VMware's coat tails out of the gutter, plus gives them the ability to support data center migrations, disaster recovery.

While I am a fan of the open source software they provide, it isn't a business model that works well with capitalism, from a profit stand point, I just can't see shareholder value. Sorry guys, do like the social aspect of the company.
