The CFO, Mike Z., has plans and is executing them to make the company more profitable by reducing needless expenses and only participating in areas of business where they can be a major player. Upside potential is huge.

Nortel has an extremely competitive data proudct portfolio that is easily have the price of the largest competitor in the industry.

Along with the strong positions in the carrier and wireless market space Nortel is under-rated.

the world's most perplexing stock. While I hate almost everything about this company there is still value there. I just hope the value is perceived before another management disaster. Obviously limited downside and usually finds a way to rally.

Design is offshored - the new design teams do not know the product - Turnover rate for the new design teams is high - It will take a couple of more years until the turnover is not as great and the expertise level gets to a competent level.
