Start at $18
Maybe a start of $18 was unrealistic, but $25? Trading at $26.35 on 6-7-2011, while crusing waiting for next "Cycle", whther it's industry, economy, or whatever . . . apparently the near 4% DIV has been cancelled. Need to find out more about current P/E and P/B valuation and also cash position. Products will eventually come and deliver earnings.
Now trading close to $22, so $18 was not so unrealistic. AMZN recently pulled the 3DS and is temporarily not selling it, and we're at the dawn of a global meltdown due to congress' inability to come to agreemnt on the DEBT crisis.
Wouldn't you know it . . . NTDOY is now trading below $18. The concern now is if the video gaming industry is in a slump and how long will it persist, since peers such as ATVI, ERTS and MSFT and Sony are in flat/down cycles as well and there isn't a revolutionary innovation in sight for the Industry. Wii was revolutionary because of its movement sensing technology and all the new developments are adding sophistication to this platform: high definition, 3-D, Dolby sound, portable consoles, etc., etc. are not revolutionary in themselves to warrant an investment toward new consoles and new/updated games.
