See my pitch for GSS, as these are both producers forecasting similar gold production, and both are trading at valuations as though they were explorers."Northgate Minerals Corporation is a mid-tier gold and copper producer with mining operations, development projects and exploration properties in Canada and Australia. The company is forecasting over 400,000 ounces of unhedged gold production in 2008 and is targeting growth through further acquisition opportunities in stable mining jurisdictions around the world. "

I agree with you whole heartedly. The bolt on of the new australian mines in concert with other strategic targeted acquisitions make future production viable now. And these folks have a great looking balance sheet, have done a good job of paying down debt while increasing cash stores.

Here I am. Leeching wisdom off the masters and looking like a genius. Again. I bought this tired old nxg horse yesterday. It went up 8% today, and it is still sailing. How smart am I? Not really too smart! Just smart enough to find a gold stock, rated five stars (whatever that means), that is down 400% in the busted up republican economy. When this turns around, I will looking for a goog on sale. I will lay the money down, and wait for the Obama ticket to turn this baby around. McSame has no chance. It will be the biggest political slaughter in history. You techies ready for the next bubble? Here in California it looks like this mountain of windfalls will make the first bubble look like a speed bump. Put your money down. Damn the nay-sayers. Let's ride!
