Tangible Book Value of negative 10.75 per share, FCF is negative. Secondary offering paid off existing owners instead of repairing balance sheet. Current ratio and quick ratio are atrocious for a tech company. A tiny amount of Long Term assets is sellable with 4.5 Billion in long term debt. Seems to me that someone ran off with all of the future value of this company and left confused bagholders to rationalize their investment decision.

I have to admit after reading this from the Gunderson Group...how can David Garner come accross so strongly in his recommendation to buy this stock.By signing up for Motley Fool's Rule Breakers I thought I was getting good advice from David and his group. Now I wonder if I have made a mistake paying to join this site....can I believe David's recommendations????

Fidelity is betting heavy on this company. That's good enough for me.

I have to think of what is in my annoyingly bulky wallet that I could replace with my phone. Credit cards, library card, business cards, ski pass (in August?) cash, car insurance card, pictures of my daughters... If the police would except a NFC image of my drivers licence, I don't think I would need my wallet - oh Hallelujah!!

But what about the credit card companies? If everyone starts paying via NFC what will the response be from Visa and Mastercard? Are they developing an app that will let you track your Sky Miles (oh, they already have)? And if the credit card companies jump on the NFC bandwagon, and if Dolby and NXP are the big players in this technology, I would assume the future would look mighty bright for these companies.

I was also thinking that if I lost my wallet I would be screwed. But if I lost my phone, I could track it down (I live in a small town) and all my stuff would be safer AND be backed up in the Clouds. That's pretty cool.

This is the article that got me thinking that this technology may be closer to reality than we think. http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-19398569

Being an emotional guy I am not a good investor and this is definitely an emotional play (I can't WAIT to get rid of my wallet!).

NXPI is not only NFC...I suggest reviewing investors conference in Sept 2012...CFO presentation...this company is positioned for the future of all connected technologies.

I have some very good stocks and am convinced they will provide me with good income in the future. One of them is NXPI. Keep digging into Stock investors and Rule Breakers.

Bill Gunderson has changed his position. His April 2, 2014 analysis is positive, and is his conservative growth account. The sweet part of the market. He loves it. So do not use his 2011 analysis. Look at his "Best Stocks Now" app.
