Here's yet another activist filing by one of my favorite activist investors, Starboard Value. This one is in Office Depot. I hope they are right and can help turn this around, I think staples may take another shot at a buyout now that there is enough competition where antitrust shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise OfficeMax will probably merge. Maybe, maybe not, either way this is good news.
