Most of ORI's business is in general insurance, but the stock was beaten down on account of their small business in mortgage insurance. Their market cap is only 60% of their net tangible assets, and their tangible assets are UNDERSTATED due to a write-off for OTTI of certain long-term investments that were purchased below book. Look for this stock to return to its pre-subprime crisis valuation of ~$20 by 2010.
