Ugh. I picked this at $0.51, and then after a few days it kicks in at $0.40?!? In that time it dipped, and then came back to hit $0.50, so how'd my pick get started at $0.40?
I'm sure I'll be fine, but still... this sucks.
Very low trading volume, probably should not have been pickable. Low volume means you usually get the "next trade" unless you use limit orders. It opened at $0.40 that morning. Technically no trades should open below $0.50, but there are still a few oddities in the system you can stumble on, such as having 201+ picks open depending on timing. I find limits of $0.50 don't kick in. I usually use $0.51.
At any rate, yes you will be okay in the end, but this one with such low volume means the "owners" still have some fight left in them. You might end up down a hundred points before the death throw. Owners can buy a hundred shares occasionally to keep their "book value" bragging rights. CEO of an $18 Million company with six employees who stitches LED's into clothing for a trade show that doubles as a tax writeoff vacation!!! What a life!
The price bobbed up and down for a bit so trades were being made because my pick didn't kick in for days. I figured it might once the $0.50 threshold was achieved, but never figured my starting price would be $0.40. LOL! Just best be more careful in the future I guess.
