1.It is a perfect internet business that has been plagued by operational issues. 2. Operations are getting under control to reach profitability not just growth. 3. Patrick Byrne is not crazy, just emotional, and he is a very good investor.

"Patrick Byrne is not crazy, just emotional, and he is a very good investor."

Hah, that's crazy! The worst kinds of investors are the ones that let their emotions rule them, and the last thing I'd look for in a CEO is their investment abilities.

"It is a perfect internet business that has been plagued by operational issues."

Isn't that a contradiction. Just read it out loud a few times.

1. It's a perfect internet business for the mid-90's when making profits just didn't matter. The only way it's perfect now is that it NEVER has a profitable quarter - not even one time.
2. When you don't make money for this long, its not just "getting operations under control". You need to ask what the % they've been doing for the last 5 years if they are just now getting them under control.
3. Patrick Byrne is silly. I don't know about crazy, but definitely silly. Instead of focusing on "getting operations under control" he's focused on vast short-seller conspiracies to hurt his stock price. That is a 90's mentality where the CEO focuses on the stock price. If he wants to tell the short sellers where to go and no &%#*$' mistake, then he should make a profit. That seems to be out of the question though, so he's decided to focus on a lawsuit instead. That lawsuit should be a clear sign in flashing neon lights to sell this stock as quickly as possible.

Look at the earnings of this dot-com e-commerce website for the last 5 years, and then move on. Why would you want to waste your money. Only a sucker would buy this stock, but luckily for Overstock, there's one born every minute. Step right up!
