Change in revenue recognition pushed Q4/07 earnings into Q1/08 making earnings growth artificially look high. If so, this is a one time event.

It's year 2008, and selling cheap stuff over internet just isn't very innovative or profitable. For private companies with modest ambition, they will do just fine. For public companies that need growth to sustain overpriced stocks, good luck.

I believe I am not too far off from their target demographic. I shop online all the time. It never occurs to me to use Overstock. They just are not cornering the market the way they should have.

Losing money, not even an interesting business plan to speak of, the online marketplace is saturated and Overstock isn't adding anything to the market.

This company has never made money -- in fact it looks like its lost money every quarter for almost 3 years. Sooner or later it has to crash....(I just have to outwait the market.....that never works well, o well, its a game)
