They surprised themselves a bit with Centro. Still, not as cool as iPhone, not as productive as Blackberry, not as prominent as WinMobile.

When will people start buying phones that are a bit of everything, but not a leader of anything? Until the time when the meek inherits the earth. Not going to happen in this century, I'm afraid.
