Apart from some major unpleasant occurrences due to mining activities in very underdeveloped parts of American continents, this company is a literal and proverbial goldmine.

Net profit: 40%
D/E: .37
P/E: 11.4
FY 2007 EPS growth: 34.9%
dividend yield: 7.92%!!!

Compare to FCX or ABX...

Despite the free dividend $$$ just for owning, the company actually has some upside left to grow next year.

Think of basic material demand outside of US and Gold price rising as the USD decreases. It's like playing both sides and wining on both sides. ..(what ?)
