Ethanol isn't viable as a fuel for anything. Its production consumes more energy than it creates and makes the costs of food products go up world-wide.

As great as ethanol is to our environment. There just isn't enough of it to become the next gasoline. Basically its just a stepping stone to our next real gasoline replacement. I don't see this market growing anywhere past where it is now.
