The whole pharmaceutical industry has been oversold due to various concerns (e.g. recent NSAID lawsuits). However, these companies continue to rake in large amounts of cash. I don't think they'll stay out of favor for very long.

Think Pfizer's going to be down for long? Please--this is big pharma, and the wealthiest areas of the world are graying quickly. Now's the time to go nutty on shares of the drug giant.

Company is poised for a rebound. Still has solid financials, good pipeline of future products, and lots of cash cows that aren't going generic soon. New leadership will invigorate the company.

Currrently, this stock is trading at 10.64 times trailing earnings. This is just way too low for a brand company like Pfizer, no matter what the circumstances, and it's striking. Very low debt/equity, at 0.102.

This organization pulled a potentialially valuable drug from the pipeline and has hurt their earnings potential. Furthermore, the money paid to the past President of Pfizer has caused a lot of folks to lose faith in the organization.

Stock is worth $25 at 0% growth using cash flow as a metric. With an aging population to think that profits will not grow is quite bearish. After the 13% haircut today, PFE looks like a nice, fairly risky 2-5 year play to get you a 15-25% return.

They're going to buy someone soon. They can't keep growing buy laying off their sales force. Their pipeline is hurting for certain. Nothing going on that's too promising in Stage 3 trials. Look for a buy in the pain management sector.

Long term biotech boom call on this one. Taking advantage of the current depression. They have $5 billion left even after paying down all their debt (8B debt/13B cash) and their profit margins are 30%... No reason I can think of to not buy and ho...
