I believe that the best time to buy is when the entire market has turned bearish. That is what has happened to Pulte Homes and the entire US housing sector. Sure the stock can drop a bit more, but it will not drop more that 10% from this point. The right strategy is to accumulate from this point on. I think that the US housing industry will remain down at least another year. Nonetheless, I also believe that marginal gains at this stage will be seen as major advances. Thus, I believe that the stock will be a reasonably good performer in the near term and an excellent pick in the long run.
