Following StatsGeek on this. Looks like a good bet to underperform: 51 employees making $89K revenue doesn't strike me as sustainable. No debt, $19M in cash is good, but considering operating losses of $23M, $23M, and $17M (rounded) the past three years, it doesn't look like the cash will be there much longer. And they will probably have a tough time finding lenders to keep them going. Best hope is to be bought out, but what do they have to sell?
The company had revenue of about $194,000 in the third quarter. Wow, they are really raking it in now!
re: "what do they have to sell?" They sell stock to finance the company. There is one analyst who follows the company, he always says that they are a buy. They sucked in Leucadia National for a little while, so they must tell a good story. I have also red-thumbed this stock, but I am impressed with their business model. They don't have to sell any products to stay in business, just tell a good story to the next group of potential investors.
