Thank you to luvb2b... You'd think after a 50% decline from their highs that valuations would be appealing... I value companies before I value their shares. I did similar research onto AIG before, but thanks to luvb2b I've found this to be even more grand. You think this is still a good buy? You want to insult red thumbers? Well, I'm not one... I wouldn't buy this company for more than $20 billion, and if you've read the news then you'd see that PRU doesn't believe so either. When the flag is raised and the credit crisis is over (sometime by the end of 2009) I will be buying beaten up good insurance companies en masse. AIG nor Prudential is one of them... Stay away from this popular stock....
